Intrauterine Insemination of Semen is a process in which a highly concentrated normal & actively motile sperms are placed in uterine cavity to increases the chances of conception. Sperm sample is washed and prepared in the andrology laboratory that separates and concentrates the sperms in very small volume. That leads to high no of healthy spermatozoa available in fallopian tube to fertilize the egg by putting the washed sample in uterine cavity by catheter. IUI with ovulation induction leads to increase the chances of conception then ovulation induction alone.

• Oligo- asthenospermia
• Cervical factor- stenosis, infection
• Azoospermia – donner semen
• Unexplained infertility
• Husband not available- army jobs, foreign resident ( Freezed husband semen samples)
